In case you're in a hurry, I've separated it into about 6 sections
Going to Dallas for my Dad's inauguration:
My dad's the president now!! We had tons of fun! His medical association elected in the president, so yeah he's all important and stuff now lol. We went to Dallas for his inauguration thing, and Mellie, Larry, and Jay came along. We stayed in a really nice suit... two stories to be exact :)... complete with a sauna and steam room. It had 2 bed rooms, a dining room, a small bar arena, and entryway, 3 bathrooms, and a living room with a huge sectional sofa. I felt like a princess or something! Oh, and everyday, on our floor, they had a bowl of apples. Jay had one or two ;) ha ha Umm yeah, so that's enough about the room. while we were there, we went to eat at the magic time machine. very fun. When we first arrived, we had to give our name to the hostess/Wonder Woman, then she took us to our table, located in a small hut. Our waiter was dressed like Harry Potter, and when he came to greet us, he asked us who Larney was. We were all so confused, Larney, Who's Larney? Well turns out that Wonder Woman had bad handwriting, and it actually said Larry. So, for the rest of the trip, we called Larry Larney. It was so fun. Then he took our drink orders. Everyone except me got tea (i had water). So, since that was too boring for Mr. Potter, he asked me if i'd like an orange slice in my water, then a lemon, a lime, a pinapple, and or a cherry. I said yes, and turned out he actually brought me a lime, lemon, and orange, but bc the bar tender was mean that night, he wouldn't let him get me a pineapple or cherry for my water. So then he made some rude remark about the water girl having to be different, blah blah blah. As we were following him to the salda bar in the car, we passed by the bar, and he told me to make a face at the bar tender, who wasn't in there at the time, and yeah it was fun. Also while we were in Dallas, the convention had the exhibit hall as usual where the exhibitors got more creative, as usual, and had fun things like staplers and waterbottles, and patient gowns, and stuff like that. we had like 7 or 8 bags full of stuff by the time we left the hall. Later the convention also had a casino night... my personal favorite thing about these conventnions. All of us started out playing Black Jack, but Jay and I (after almost losing all our money) decided to move on and go to Roulette, while the rest stayed behind and played black Jack. I did surprisingly well! Roulette is deffinently my new favorite game. I had a around 2 thousand dollars that i had won, but since i didn't know that they were giving prizes away for the most money, i bet all but like 200 dollars in the last roll. Well, my dad ended up getting like 2nd place over all with the about of money won with like $2400 or something like that, and won like $50 to On The Border(which he gave to Diana, bc she loves that place). Keep in mind this is all fake money, and we started out with $2000 dollars. Through the whole trip Jay was the bar tender each night in our hotel room. We had to host a hospitality suite each night and have snacks and drinks for everyone. Well, i personally had like 3 shirley temples each night, while everyone else had their alcohol. Oh and one night, after everyone had left our room, a lady comes in (we knew she was with our group) completely drunk, and takes us to her room down the hall where there was another party going. Everyone in there either was drunk or drinking. It was insane. As u walked in you could just smell the alcohol in the air. Anyway, so this lay was like almost running into the walls as she's walking down the halls. It was hilarious. She probably told us about her trip to Italy like 15 times. So yeah, that was an interesting night. I think that's really enough about this trip.
Mystery Trip
So, my mom and i decided a while back that we wanted to go on a trip somewhere this summer. Well we initially decided to go to California, then we thought it'd be fun to go just anywhere. I told my mom that i wanted her to surprise me. The only rules were that we couldn't go anywhere she had already been, or anywhere I had already been, and I didn't want to know where we were going until i got to the airport. Well, the day came, i had no idea where I was going, and we got up and left the house and headed to houston, where we got on the shuttle thing that took us to the Northwest air terminal. Well, don't let the name of the airline fool u... we went to the complete opposite side of the country, to Main Vermont and New Hampshire. We flew from Houston, TX to Detroit, MI, and from Detroit, MI to Manchester, NH. Once we were there my mom and i drove everywhere. We went to the Vermont Country Store, drove up Mount Washington, went to Ben and Jerry's, and i had lobster like 3 times while we were in Maine. I love lobster!!! (Jay, u would've died on this trip... literally) lol... umm yeah, so that's pretty much all of what we did. Where ever I go, I see someone I know. I could be across the country, and still see someone i know. this was evident when we were flying back home. we were in Detroit and I saw a guy from my Chemistry Class, Tyler, and his twin brother, Travis. They were flying back to houston on the same plane. I know... creepy! :)
Weddings
Ok, so i had something else written up for this part, but in light of Jay never speaking to me again, i thought i'd change it... so here's the thing: Bealio is now married!! and Gje is now married!! So yeah... it's exciting.
Washington DC
This was the most amazing experiance of my entire life, and i will forever remember every detail of the trip. The friendships i made while i was there will last a lifetime, or at least i hope so, because in the 10 days I was there, i became closer to those people that i have anyone else i've ever met. I flew from College Station to Dallas, where i had a like 2 hour layover. Once in Dallas,I had gotten a muffin from a little store thing, and a bottle of water, and was sitting at my gate eating my breakfast, and i saw a woman and her daughter come and sit down. She was going to be an unaccompanied minor, so she had the giant envelope thing with all of her ticket info and stuff in it, and her mom was hugging her and almost in tears, but the girl kept looking at me then saying something to her mom about me. She looked like she may be old enough to be going to the same confrence as me, but i wasn't sure. Well, a few minutes later, another lady, this time accompanying a young boy to the gate came along. This time, the other lady and her daughter came over to talk to this boy and lady. Well, turns out that they were both going to the same LeadAmerica confrence as i was, and i had just made 2 new friends. Chelsea and Jake, both in middle school, and I sat talking about the confrence, and what we thought about having to leave our parents and stuff until they had to board (since they're both under 16 they had to wear the little thing... lol it was funny). Chelsea's mom came and sat next to me until it was time for me to board. She then gave me a huge hug, and told me to watch out for her little darling. Chelsea and I are like the same person almost... it was kinda creepy, but i didn't actually see her but like 3 times the entire trip... kinda sad. JAke and I talked some, but i didn't really see him either, bc they were in middle school. So, as soon as we landed in DC we had to get out luggage, and then meet the leadamerica people, who we couldn't fince, but we found another girl from tx goingto the confrence w/ us, Sally (she's from Dallas). After all of the drama with finding the people, we sat down, and met like 4 or 5 other people going to our confrence, including Danielle from Las Vegas! She's fun!! umm.... then when we got to George Town, we met Emily and Halley, had to rush to eat dinner, and then change into professional clothes. Well, when i went up to my room, i met Erica... my roommate... from San Antonio!! (i added this picture after i was done posting... u'll understand later... just keep reading!)

I know ur probably thinking, man there's a bunch of people from TX there, when infact there were only about 20 of us out of the 420 kids. I was just lucky. Well, Erica had been there for like 2 hours, and had already started planning her trip home. she'd changed her ticket and everything. Well, after the opening ceremony and stuff she decided to stay... FLASHBACK!! when we first got changed into our prof. clothes, we had to rush downstairs to find all 17 of our group members... i was in group L (L FOR LOVE, BABY!!!) So, here i am, screaming L at the top of my lungs while everyone else i doing the same for each other their letters (a-p) for C.S.L.C (aka HighSchool) and then a-f NJ MiddleSchool. craziness... it took me like 5 or 6 minutes to find them, but I eventually did. I didn't know anyone in my group... we just started counting off, i was L10, until we had everyone. Well, once we had everyone, we had to walk up our favorite little 1 and a half mile long trail uphill to the Auditorum. It was crazy (but i did lose 10 pounds!!) lol... so we're walking up all of this, dying in the 100 degree and humid weather in our suits, and getting to know people. I met one of my new favorite people on that trip... Caitlin.
Caitlin is from NewJersey, and she lives on a farm. HOW COOL IS THAT??!! Yeah, and she raises chickens, and sheep, and cows... and I love HER!! She's A-Mazing! She's the one that's on my right, in the white shirt. Kaye's in the brown, and JoJo's in the red... but we'll get to them soon enough... or maybe i should just post a few pictures and tell u alittle about each person... hmm... that's sounds good (especially since i've been updating this perticular post since june 26th) So then let me tell u about Kaye. She lives in VA, and loves soccer... it's like her life lol. Oh, and Motion City Soundtrack, and we deffiently sing the song about the velcro shoes lol... i know sounds weird, but yeah, i love her and she's so Y-AMAZING!! JoJo aka JOJO the HO from VA, Yo!! as we like to call her, is so fun. She got some bad news while we were there, so just pray for her please. While we were there, she lost her gelatto virginity w/ me lol long long story... ok.. so here are a few more pics:
This is Alexa... She lives like 10 minutes away from my cousin Jenny in New York... She's absolutely crazy!! She and Kevin (from Illinois) had a little dance that they made up, and it's the most hysterical thing i think i have ever witnessed... go to my myspace to see it, bc u will crack up laughing. Kevin and i didn't really get to talk all that much, bc he was hanging out with other people in our group, but he's deffiently an amazing investigator. He solved our entire crime scene simulation!! He's awesome! this is a pic of their dancing:

Yeah, they're cool! Kevin's face during all this is the best part, but u can't really see it. And this is Lauren and Ben... one of the "couples" that formed within our group.
Ben, from FLORIDA!!, although he's like the biggest flirt/player out of the entire group was a deffinent sweetheart, and i'll love him forever. Yes, i did cry when i left all these people, but soon u will meet the person i cried most over. This other lovely person is Lauren. She's from VA, and can fit an entire piece of cake into her mouth, shown below:
Yes, and she will steal ur cake while you've gone to get something to drink (especially if your name is Ben) ha ha that was a highlight of the trip... Fun meal times!!
And this is Greg everyone. I have fallen in love with this guy. Like seriously he's amazing lol. Over the course of the 10 days, we got to know each other very well, along with the circle of friends that u will see in a minute. Greg lives in Georgia, has lived in many other states and England, and has a huge house that i will be moving into very soon (if only parents would allow lol). Greg was deffiently one of my best friends on the trip, and will remain one of my best friends for the rest of my life. (in case u havn't solved the puzzle... Greg is the one I cried most over when we had to leave. At the airport we had planned on meeting up, bc we had an hour between the time his plane left and the time i would get to the airport, but becuase he flew delta and i flew american, we didn't get to see each other again. I cried when we put him on the shuttle bus to the airport, and cried again when i found out we couldn't see each other again before he left, and again when he called me to tell me he could see my gate, and again when i saw his plane take off... it was the sadest thing ever). We had so much fun... he and dani's little relationship was the other "couple" that formed during our trip. Here's the circle of friends i was talking about:
From me clockwise it's Liz, Greg, Melissa, Dani, and Lauren. These people were some of my favorites. I just can't explain how much these people mean to me!
This is L-Don... he's a PIMP from Maryland!! lol Like seriously he had like 5 girls around him at all times. It was crazy, and we all love him tremendously. The first thing that set him apart from everyone was that he ran into a stop sign (which then started our entire group running into and tripping over stuff on accident the rest of the trip). No he didn't just brush by it.. not he like walked smack dab into it. Like it wacked him in the face and everything. It was HILARIOUS!! all we heard was the thud of his head on the pole lol. It was so great! He also sings. He prefers either anything country (which is weird since he's from Maryland), or Unfaithful by Rhianna lol, which became his theme song for the rest of the trip. He's so great! lol
Collen's on the left and Dreuh is on the right. These are the coolest people of Group L. Collen's from PA and Dreuh's from VA (yes we did have quite a few people in our group from VA) They both run CrossCountry. Collen's also a Cheerleader and an excellent Interrogator (she wants to be a lawyer, and i've already told her she's mine!) lol and Dreuh's also a soccer star. I just love them to death!!! :)
Mike and Kevin and Union Station on one of our fieldtrips or whatever. Mike's from Connecticut lol. That's pretty much all i know about him... he didn't talk much to me. Oh, and he thinks i'm "chill"... yeah, weird i know... but his laugh was deffiently contagious, and i couldn't stop laughing after he started lol.
Here's a picture of the lovely group L Ladies. Aren't we gorgeous!!?? let's see are there any of them i haven't talked about... hmmm OH SARAH!!!! here's pic of just the 2 of us:
Sarah my love thinks that I have the greatest iPod music selection ever, and is now "talking to" Nate, the hottest of the TLs (team leaders). It's kinda illegal, but yeah, they aren't doign anything so yeah. Sarah is the cutest thing ever... she snorts when she laughs, and she's from WV. it's crazy... long story.. umm yeah she's so hilarious!! she and ben had this thing, but yeah that's over now, and it's lauren and ben now (plus sarah had a bf back home, and yeah it was sad). So that's all the girls at least let's check out the guys:
these are our boys... ben, greg, l-don, mike, and kevin. Oh, our TL Niki (the one in the navy shirt in the picture of the Group L Girls) totally had a crush on him, and it only became apparent at the end but yeah... long long story, and it's kinda gross. yeah, so that's everyone... here's a pic of the whole group... it's our last one that we ever took together:
I miss these people so much!! I don't know how i ever lived with out them! We became as close as family! yeah, it's crazy how close you become when ur forced to live with people for such a sort amount of time. I wouldn't trade those 10 days for anything. I just wish we could've had more time together. So, that's all for this post... congratulations if u actually sat here and read this entire thing with out stopping, bc it took me over a month to actually sit down and write it down! so yeah... luv y'all .:*Suzy*:.
